The Senior Architectural Technologist Role
As the Senior Technologist, you will be responsible for leading RIBA Stages 4 and 5 and ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects. You will be managing a team of six architects, overseeing technical delivery, and providing mentorship to junior staff. Your role will also include:
- Leading project teams, writing specifications, and managing budgets
- Driving quality standards and ensuring compliance
- Communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
- Developing and testing new products and processes
The Senior Architectural Technologist
You are a Senior Architectural Technologist with a robust technical background and experience in commercial refurbishment projects. You thrive in team environments, possess strong leadership skills, and are eager to inspire and develop others.
You will ideally have:
- Proven experience in commercial refurbishment
- Strong technical expertise and the ability to communicate technical details clearly
- A passion for mentoring and team development
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit experience is a plus but not essential
- Team management experience
- Strong communication skills and a keen interest in quality management
- Competitive salary: £45,000-£55,000
- Progression and support towards RIBA, CIOB, and RICS chartered status
