Unsalaried School Based Teacher Training – Physical Education
We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified sports graduate to train as a PE teacher through the School Based PGCE PE programme from 1/9/25 until 30/6/26. Working in partnership with the University of Hertfordshire, the school can offer a high quality, comprehensive training programme.Successful applicants will spend most of the week in school, with some time at the university. Applicants should have a degree in a Sports/PE relevant subject and, once approved by the school, would be required to apply for a PGCE place at the university.
This post is unsalaried and the successful candidate would need to self-fund their PGCE. Applications are welcome from recent graduates or anyone looking for a career change. Our trainees have been very successful at securing teaching posts after training.
This post is unsalaried. Staff accommodation at a competitive rate may be available.
