Technician

• Rolling Stock Contract Duration 12 monthsLocation North LondonPay Rate Umbrella
• 24 56 per hour for the first 4 weeks (15 shift) increasing to 27 77 per hour after 4 weeks (30 shift) then finally increasing to 29 27 (30 shift) per hour after 12 weeks in line with AWR PAYE
• 19 72 per hour for the first 4 weeks (15 shift) increasing to 22 30 after 4 weeks (30 shift) Shift pattern Days initially (4 weeks) then a Combination of Days and Lates Nights TBC

• Assist other team members with the bogie overhaul wheelset overhaul in order to develop technical skills
• Identify order and collect spares and materials from stores Assist with cleaning of rolling stock when required
• This position would be undertaking works on Thames Link Project

• Supporting with the completion of repairs modifications and overhaul within a well-equipped rolling stock depot

• Experience of basic fault finding
• Ability to complete all records of actions and operations accurately and to procedures
• Ability to understand and care for tools equipment and PPE
• Knowledge of Health Safety including bio hazards manual handling and Control of
• Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)
• Ability to use a computer
• Ability to understand and interpret relevant technical publications
• Ability to produce detailed complex analytical technical reports
