Band 5 - Mental Health Nurse

Salary: £33,000 - £38,000 (Dependent on experience)

  1. 5 hours per week (Rotating day and night shifts)

What We’re Looking For
  • Registered RMN with active registration.
  • Experience in CAMHS, within a mental health hospital or similar setting.
  • Strong knowledge of mental health conditions and their effects on individuals and families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Assessment & Care Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Medication Management: Administer medication safely and effectively, while closely monitoring its effects and making necessary adjustments.
  • Therapeutic Support: Provide therapeutic interventions to support patients and their families throughout their treatment journey.
  • Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
  • Patient Safety & Well-being: Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment within the hospital, ensuring patients receive the highest level of care.
  • Continuous Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance clinical skills and advance your career.
