Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced full time Property Assistant for an exciting opportunity to work with a team of 20+ Chartered Surveyors in Manchester City Centre, which is one of our largest Savills regional offices. The Property Assistant role is embedded with core administrator duties and responsibilities aligned with Surveyor guidance and support to day to day management of properties and potential future career progression pathway to a Property Manager role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare Commercial Management reports on a quarterly and monthly basis.
  • Prepare weekly arrears and collection reports.
  • Prepare team reports
  • Prepare KPI reports.
  • Prepare minutes from meetings both internal and external
  • Provide full administrative support to all members of the team.
  • Production, formatting and proof-reading of reports to ensure all to brand standard including assistance and co-ordination with other regions as necessary.
  • Assisting Surveyors and Administrators with the formatting and production of Client management reports.
  • Assist in the production of client pitches and presentations as required using PowerPoint.
  • Arranging Meetings (both client and internal) and diary management, ability to coordinate several diaries for key meetings.
  • Assist with set up & handover of properties.
Key Skills
  • High level administrative background with ideally a minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar role
  • Proven capabilities in Intermediate/Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite applications (in particular Excel, Powerpoint, MS Teams and Outlook). Tests in Word, Excel etc will be part of the recruitment process.
  • Ideal (but not essential) a working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, in particular the Billings function.
  • Assist with production and creating high level pitches and presentations with strong capabilities in Powerpoint, design and animation to produce documents aligned with our global branding.
  • Knowledge of using Canva would be ideal but not essential.
  • Show initiative, be self-motivated, efficient and reliable

Team Overview

The successful candidate will be working in the Commercial Property Management Division where we manage shopping centres, out of town retail parks, offices and industrial space, mixed use schemes including residential management on behalf of our clients and provide full administrative support to our Surveyors as part of a strong administrative support function.

The role is very specific to the Property Management Team, working alongside the Property Management Surveyors in their day to day role and predominantly supporting the Shopping Centre Team.
