The role of a Housing Manager is to ensure residents receive a high quality and responsive service in a safe and secure environment, including providing support where necessary, and encouraging independence and choice.The successful candidate will also ensure that landlord duties are discharged in accordance with Housing 21 policies and procedures.To qualify for the role, you will have:Experience of supervising and managing a small team, ideally within an organisation providing Social HousingExperience of providing a professional, high quality housing service to older and/ or vulnerable peopleExperience of Housing Management & MaintenanceExperience of Housing aid and adviceExperience of working within a secure and confidential environment and dealing with sensitive personal informationGood general standard of education with GCSE’s (Grade C or above) in English and MathsSubstantial administrative experienceSound knowledge of Health and Safety legislationKnowledge of the Social Housing Sector and the relevant Legislation and regulationsThe benefitsAt Housing 21 we’re proud to be bucking the trend as a care provider by actively recognising the importance of our customer-facing employees and rewarding them accordingly.
