We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Digital Change Facilitator to join our friendly and dedicated training team to provide essential clinical systems training to clinicians across the Trust.

This is a rare opportunity for someone that wants to combine an interest in technology with enabling effective patient care, working closely with clinical teams across the Trust.

Excellent communicattion skills are essential as well as an ability to work under pressure and an interest in developing new skills, including working towards a training qualification.

This post will be suited to individuals that have experience in either:
  • Front line clinical care with an interest in how digital technologies can support better patient care
  • Already using patient based systems and interested in supporting clinicians with new technologies
  • Experience trainer within a healthcare environment

We offer flexible working arrangements with the opportunity for some home based working after initial training. Full systems training will be provided.

The post will involve all aspects of training from development of content to delivery of training through classroom, one to one, elearning and virtual methods.

As a critical role within Digital Services, this post will require a flexible, adaptable and proactive individual who has either a clinical background with an interest in digital, experience in working with clinical information systems or training experience within healthcare.

The Digital Change Facilitator function is to ensure the provision of high quality, relevant and cost effective digital training for staff of the Trust. He/she will design, deliver and assess the curricula for a programme of training courses, this will include the associated documentation.

The delivery of training will be to members of staff on a variety of digital skills, applications, systems and essential skills in line with the organisation’s overall training strategy.

  • Deliver high quality Digital training courses to a wide spectrum of NHS staff with a diverse range of digital awareness in a professional and consistent manner.
  • Demonstrate the quality of training being delivered, through positive feedback via course evaluation and teaching observations.
  • Comply with and help other staff with rules and regulations regarding health and safety i.e. those issues relevant to Computer Workplace Assessments, computer security & confidentiality.
  • To maintain security of the systems and demonstrate strict confidentiality regarding passwords and personal data
  • Ensure the Trust receives maximum benefit from all software by ensuring staff receive the relevant training in a cost effective and timely manner, making most use of training
  • Deliver ‘hands on’ training in person and coach NHS staff in relation to digital skills
  • Ensure that training is delivered to the highest standard and is consistent and comprehensive in line with agreed protocols.
  • Ensure staff receive continuous updating of training in information technology.
  • Run modular training courses to cover all the Trust's Digital/Application needs.
  • Work with colleagues, ensuring optimum use of training facilities.
