Diagnostic Technician

Mansfield 4x4 Ltd are recruiting for a Diagnostic Technician to join their workshop team at Bury St Edmunds.

Working negotiable hours between 08.00 - 18.00 weekdays and 09.00 - 13.00 Saturdays.

The successful applicant will possess a good work ethic and participate as part of a hardworking, friendly and experienced workshop team with a “can do” attitude.

• Will have up-to-date knowledge of Land Rover and/or Jaguar vehicles, preferably but not essentially, with a current MOT tester qualification.
• Have up to date knowledge of Land Rover Diagnostic systems.
• Have an excellent understanding of vehicle electrics and electronics (LIN bus, CAN bus etc) and be able to understand vehicle wiring diagrams.
• Preferably but not essentially, be EV/hybrid vehicle qualified.
• Be able to diagnose both electrical and mechanical faults on Land Rover vehicles
• You will need to hold a full valid UK driving license
• Possess NVQ Level 3 or have a minimum of 4 years continuous experience.

• Salary dependent on experience, hours worked and qualifications, starting at £43,000 per annum plus bonus, with potential earnings of over £50,000 per annum
