About the Job

We are seeking a talented logistics coordinator to join our busy, friendly logistics support team, based at our East Midlands Gateway distribution centre.

This role is the key link between the logistics planning teams & operational teams, consulting with Games Workshop's commercial channels, across trade, retail, web and all internal sponsors. By ensuring clear communication flow & reporting you will enable smooth planning, execution & issue resolution in all activities alongside extraordinarily large new releases, peak trading periods & events for the wider business.

You will consult with internal commercial teams, external carrier service providers, customs and external logistics teams to manage the end-to-end order flow for exceptional orders through the logistics network to the end customer including palletisation, timed deliveries & documentation requirements.

Your keen attention to detail and ability to navigate complex situations with integrity will ensure that we maintain the highest standards in all aspects of our operations.

You will manage planning for peak trading periods & major new releases, covering pre-planning, order pattern management/tracking, carrier limitations, and smoothing implications to operational abilities for all channels. You will be resilient and adaptable as sometimes there will be last-minute changes.

Clear communication is key to ensure that any exceptional shipping requirements such as hazardous orders are managed correctly and you will demonstrate the ability to communicate in multiple formats to various staff and teams throughout the business as well as with external suppliers.

You will confidently deputise in the logistics support manager's absence when required, alongside leading the logistics team requirements when needed in projects & continuous improvements.

If you feel that this exciting role is for you, please apply using the links below.

Working at Games Workshop

The Warhammer World site is based just outside of Nottingham city centre and benefits from a nearby tram stop and free onsite car parking.

In return for your hard work, you will receive 33 days holiday per year (including public holidays), matching contributory pension scheme up to 7.5%, profit share bonus (subject to GW meeting profit targets) and option to join our Share Save scheme.
