- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation.
- Stay updated on legislation changes affecting payroll and implement necessary updates.
- Assist in preparing reports and providing payroll data for audits.
- Ensure compliance with tax and pension regulations.
- Support the wider accounting and finance team with administrative tasks as needed.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll Administrator should have:
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and relevant legislation.
- Experience in payroll systems and general accounting practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Proficiency in using accounting and payroll software.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with internal teams and employees.
- A competitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £35,000 per annum.
