Salary: £130 - £180 Per day
- Plan and deliver engaging and informative food technology lessons to students.
- Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments in line with the curriculum.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning and development.
- Manage classroom activities and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in food technology education.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Degree in Food Technology or related field
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practises
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or a related field
- Previous experience teaching food technology in a school setting is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to engage and inspire students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage classroom dynamics
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Postgraduate qualification in Education or Food Technology
- Experience with exam board specifications
- Regular working hours on weekdays
- Classroom-based teaching with some administrative responsibilities
