We currently have an exciting opportunity for Catering Assistant - 20 hours per week to join our fantastic team at Pear Tree High School

This is a Grade 1, permanent, part-time post working 20 hours per week, term time only plus 5 INSET days. The starting pro-rata salary is £11,627 and the full time equivalent is £23,656. This role will commence upon the pre-employment checks are completed.

We’re looking for:

The ideal candidate will be able to assist with the preparation, setting up and serving of meals in line with food hygiene regulations, providing a customer focused service which is courteous and responsive, and meets the needs of customers at all times.

You should have a knowledge of basic hygiene and health and safety, and be able to work well as part of a team.

Main purpose of the job:

To work as part of the Team and contribute to the achievement of its objectives, providing an effective and efficient catering service. This includes preparing and serving food, maintaining the associated catering areas in accordance with food hygiene regulations.
