Learning Support Assistant - Primary School
The school have a high number of Looked after children (LAC) so you will need to be able to support pupils who come from a vulnerable background.
After speaking with the school’s senior leadership team we were asked to support with their recruitment for a learning support assistant due to 2 pupils requiring additional support for the rest of the academic year. Your time will be split between the 2 pupils and you will be tasked with building relationships quickly and efficiently on a one-to-one basis.
The successful Learning support assistant must be able to communicate effectively and have the ability to build relationships with pupils that often struggle with their concentration. The 2 individuals you will be supporting both have additional learning needs and will need someone that can communicate effectively and break down tasks set by the class Teachers/leaders.
The Role- Learning Support Assistant Vacancy – November start date
- Full Time Mon-Fri for the full academic year
- Potential of a School contract being offered after successful probation period
- Supporting primary aged pupils with additional learning needs & challenging behaviour
- Communicating effectively to pupils and Teachers in order to develop schemes of work
- Build relationships and become a role model to your pupil on a one-to-one basis
- Pay From £420 per week
