Assembly Engineer

Job Profile

Assembly Engineer required for a well-established production machinery manufacturer for the food industry, based in Leeds. Due to ongoing success they are seeking an enthusiastic Engineer to join their assembly and production team.

• Carrying out mechanical, electrical and pneumatic assembly and build of equipment and bespoke products
• Inspecting and repairing faulty equipment
• Providing technical support to customers
• Maintaining the inventory of spare parts and tools
• Assisting the installation of new equipment

• Experience within a Mechanical / Electrical Fitting, Machine Assembly or Maintenance related role
• Qualifications within mechanical or electrical engineering
• Based in a commutable distance of Leeds
• Experience or an understanding of equipment calibration is desirable
• Conversant with Microsoft Word and Outlook

• Starting salary £30,000
• Monday to Thursday 07:30
• 16:00, Friday 07:30
• 14:15. Permanent position.
• 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays (increasing to 28 days after one year's service)
• Company Pension
