Stores Operative - Southampton

Are you looking for a hands-on role with a leading company that makes a difference? We’re recruiting a Stores Operative for a well-established business in Southampton, specialising in essential safety products. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity.

• Picking a range of safety products with accuracy
• Packing orders securely for dispatch, ensuring proper labels, packing techniques, and courier requirements are met (especially for hazardous goods)
• Reading and processing invoices and dispatch notes to ensure correct shipments
• Supporting general warehouse duties, including lifting large items and handling small orders
• Maintaining a clean and organised workspace

• At least 12 months of experience in a warehouse or stores environment
• A good level of English for reading orders and instructions
• Physically fit, with strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
• A great team player to join a well established friendly team

• Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30
• Competitive hourly rate of £11.80, with the opportunity to go permanent
• Supportive team environment with full training provided
