Our Manufacturing, Automotive & Life Sciences (MALS) market unit is looking for an ambitious and driven Client Manager to join us. The role is to own relationships and sales growth within target areas of the account with the ambition to grow our business more broadly.

You will join a thriving team of global delivery, solution and client executives. The team will provide guidance and encouragement to support you in your new role. You will report into the UK Client partner. We would ideally like someone with knowledge of the Life Sciences domain and emerging technology landscape.

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including: identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status, employment history going back 3 continuous years, and unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service)

Your Role
  • Help create a new pipeline of work through effective relationship building
  • Listen to our clients, understand Capgemini, and come up with new ideas to add value
  • Build relationships with our clients, and help them achieve their objectives through developing a good understanding of them and their business challenges
  • Work closely with the leadership team and the leaders of Capgemini’s service lines to set and deliver on the account strategy
  • Lead proposals through the stages, working closely with SME’s, architects, and your delivery teams
  • Conduct workshops with clients to create demand and understand their requirements and propose suitable offerings
  • Participate in delivery reviews to help us achieve delivery excellence

Your skills and experience
  • Team spirit and flexibility to support other deals outside of your area, when needed
  • Experience in managing client relationships
  • Knowledge around the relevant technology solutions, operating models and a view of business-critical outcomes and success factors
  • A mix of commercial/business and consulting experience
  • Experiencing working with commercial models, estimation techniques, pricing trends, and SOW documents
  • Ability to innovatively and constructively challenge the status quo to drive forward the business
  • Able to operate with a high degree of independence as well as being part of a team
  • An understanding of Life science industry

Your security clearance

To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks.

There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required.

There are other criteria and check required for BPSS, and throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
