Applicants should have an interest in working with this client group, and an awareness of relevant evidence based interventions.
The successful candidate will be expected to undertake holistic comprehensive assessments and formulation of complex clinical presentations, including risk assessments and risk management.
The role will involve delivering group based and individual interventions in line with the pathway model and utilising Structured Clinical Management (SCM).
An understanding of this model would be desirable, but training, support and supervision are offered within the service.
There will be a requirement to undertake the role of named worker for a caseload of service users.
Some individual and group-based interventions are being delivered remotely, and the successful candidate will therefore have strong ICT skills and be able to communicate effectively with others through technology.
The team offers opportunities to participate in both delivering and receiving a range of clinical supervision and professional and clinical development within the pathway.

A range of additional therapeutic models are utilised including attachment theory, behavioural theory, Compassion-Focussed Therapy, EMDR, Trauma-Focussed Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mentalisation-Based Treatment, and DBT informed interventions.
The team works in a highly psychologically minded way and are passionate about working with service-users who present with high levels of emotional distress and who often have histories of complex trauma and/or adverse experiences.Applicants should have an interest in working with this client group, and an awareness of relevant evidence based interventions.
