Youth Worker – Salford (M30)

Are you a youth work graduate?

Teaching Personnel are seeking a Youth Worker to provide support for a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Salford. This is an excellent opportunity for Youth Work Graduates to begin their career, supporting Key Stage 3 and 4 students throughout all subject areas.

This role is full-time, and will also involve one-to-one, targeted interventions during lessons and break times.

This PRU provides a positive and diverse learning environment, supporting individual EHCPs and providing a progress-driven curriculum. The incoming Your Worker will work closely with the unit’s committed faculty to promote the facility’s values with dedication and empathy.

  • £83.85+ per day through PAYE (no umbrella company or agency fees) paid weekly.
  • Full-time role Monday-Friday paid on a timesheet basis through Teaching Personnel until the end of the academic year.
  • Great opportunities thereafter through Teaching Personnel.
  • February start following registration with Teaching Personnel
  • Experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with SEN required.

Candidates with experience with SEN are encouraged to apply. Experience in sport coaching or teaching is also highly desired. Senior leadership will consider all enthusiastic and confident candidates who are keen to make a difference.
