Accounts Assistant

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our client's team in Ipswich. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to transition from a temporary to a permanent role within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Perform reconciliations of bank statements and ledgers.
• Process invoices and expense claims accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain and update financial records.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any financial queries.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving.
