Job Description
You will be responsible for:
- Managing and reviewing credit applications and credit limits.
- Pursuing overdue accounts in a professional manner.
- Reconciling customer accounts and resolving any discrepancies.
- Producing accurate and timely reports on the status of the credit portfolio.
- Assisting with month-end closing procedures.
- Collaborating with the wider accounting and finance team to achieve departmental goals.
- Ensuring compliance with all company policies and industry regulations.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Controller should have:
- A strong educational background in finance, accounting or related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the retail industry.
- Excellent numerical and analytical abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- The ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
