[ref. e76040122] Health and Safety Manager - Luton
HSE Manager
This is a unique and challenging opportunity to taken on multi-site responsibility across an expanding pharmaceutical manufacturing business who are looking to strengthen their approach to consistent Health and Safety management. Having pushed forward over the past two years in a number of successful projects to increase manufacturing and headcount, Health and Safety remains a clear and obvious area of focus.
Whilst this is multi-site focused, it is important to recognise that there is a critical focus on not just on HSE oversight but also hands on responsibility across all Health and Safety aspects.
The unique nature of the manufacturing will require you to bring previous experience in either radiation and/or radioactivity. This will include how to create consistency in procedures and support with local site challenges, in order to maintain compliance.
Given that the business is looking to expand its number of facilities, the HSE Manager will also be responsible for creating new documentation and processes in which to implement.
The position will be based remotely and not assigned to one facility – however, you will be expected to travel to spend time in person each site around once per month. Therefore flexibility to travel within the UK is critical. A car / car allowance will be provided as part of the wider benefits package to support this.
In the first 6 months, 3 days on site in one of the South-East facilities in Surrey will be required to support immediate challenges.
