We’re now looking for a skilled and compassionate Women’s Health Physiotherapist to join our team on a part-time basis (full-time considered based on experience), working with both women’s health and musculoskeletal patients.About the Role
This is a unique opportunity for a qualified physiotherapist with a strong interest in women’s health to join us on an associate basis and grow their expertise in a supportive and modern clinic setting. In this role, you’ll work with a diverse caseload, focusing on both women’s health and general musculoskeletal issues.
You’ll provide specialised treatment for women’s health conditions such as prenatal and postnatal care, pelvic health, and pelvic floor rehabilitation, while also handling a variety of musculoskeletal cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and create individualised treatment plans for women’s health issues, including prenatal and postnatal care, pelvic pain, prolapse, incontinence , diastasis recti and pelvic floor dysfunction.
- Carry out Mummy MOT examinations and reports (training can be discussed)
- Provide expert musculoskeletal treatment, handling a range of conditions such as back pain, joint issues, and sports injuries.
- Deliver exceptional one-on-one treatment sessions, emphasising patient education, hands-on techniques, and long-term health improvement.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated care for all patients.
- Maintain detailed records, tracking progress and adapting treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
Who We're Looking For
We’re seeking a physiotherapist who is passionate about women’s health and is motivated to further develop their expertise in this area. Ideal candidates will bring a combination of clinical skills, empathy, and a commitment to high-quality patient care.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Physiotherapy and current HCPC registration.
- Registered member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
- Specialised training or experience in women’s health physiotherapy.
- Clinical experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Desired Experience and Skills:
- Prior experience in a women’s health role, especially in prenatal and postnatal care.
- Knowledge of pelvic floor rehabilitation techniques and other women’s health interventions.
- Ability to manage a mixed caseload of women’s health and musculoskeletal patients.
- Enthusiasm for ongoing professional development and learning.
