This is an outstanding opportunity for a senior compliance professional to step into a pivotal leadership role at a fast-scaling firm that values flexibility, work-life balance, and career advancement.The position is primarily remote with occasional office attendance, and the company offers the option of a 4-day working week for the right candidate.
The Role In this leadership role, you/ll guide the business through an evolving regulatory landscape, embedding a strong risk-aware culture across operations. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, ensuring the company maintains best-in-class standards across governance, compliance, and risk.This is a permanent role, suited to someone with hands-on EMI licence application experience and a strong grasp of FCA regulatory expectations.

Key Duties Provide guidance across departments on legal and regulatory obligations, ensuring best practices are consistently appliedMonitor and evaluate operational risk, developing appropriate controls to reduce exposureKeep abreast of changing legislation and regulatory shifts, distilling relevant updates into actionable insightsSupport compliance with FCA regulations, particularly relating to licensing, reporting, and ongoing supervisionLead internal assessments on compliance performance, including audits and policy reviewsEnsure timely and accurate submission of required filings and notificationsInfluence compliance strategy by contributing to new policy development and procedural frameworksProvide risk input and oversight on key strategic initiatives and business projects What We/re Looking For Minimum 5 years experience in a risk or compliance leadership role within the UK financial services or payments industryHands on experience with EMI licensing procedures and proven engagement with FCA regulatory frameworksComfortable operating in a fast-paced, often cross-border environmentSolid working knowledge of the UK/s financial regulatory system Package & Benefits Highly competitive salary (negotiable depending on experience)Market-leading benefits including bonus, enhanced pension, private medicalStructured career path with regular salary reviewsOption of a 4-day working week for better work-life balanceIf you would like more information on this or any other role please contact Jack Groves in the strictest confidence via VANRATH, or more importantly click apply via the link.
