We’re hiring for a Support Worker in St Austell

As a support worker you play a vital role, empowering people to live an active and meaningful life, engaging with their local communities, visiting clubs, days out, or simply supporting with their hobbies and interests while at home or to experience new opportunities.

Join our teams in St Austell supporting three ladies sharing their home together or a lady living in her own bungalow. Each have a regular team, so their is lots of support.

The people we support are unique in their abilities, interests, preferences and needs. There is lots of variety and an opportunity to find a role right for you to make a difference, promote independence, and support people to achieve their personal goals and aspirations.

All support workers work flexible shifts to provide a 24/7 service to the people we support.

UK, manual driving licence required.

Your responsibilities:

  • To empower the people we support to live the lives they want to lead
  • To develop daily living skills.
  • Support the people we support to access their communities for socialisation, employment, training or friendships
  • To contribute to, develop and implement the individuals care plans.
  • To communicate effectively and professionally with people we support, their family members, and external professionals.
  • Maintain the health needs of the individuals we support

All support workers work flexible shifts to provide a 24/7 service. Successful applicants for this role will require an enhanced DBS check.
