FP&A Analyst

We’re excited to announce that our finance team at Culligan UK is expanding, and we are looking for an FP&A Analyst to join our team based in Wolverhampton. In this position, you'll be working directly with our FP&A Director and will play a key role in supporting our CDW UK reporting and planning functions.
Our FP&A department focuses on steering the business through strategic planning cycles, managing financial models, conducting scenario analyses, and identifying Risks and Opportunities. You'll also take ownership of maintaining financial models and HFM uploads, providing strategic insights and analysis, and collaborating with finance stakeholders to ensure we stay on track with our planning cycle.

We're hoping to find someone with strong financial modeling skills who is data-driven, analytical, inquisitive, and eager to make an impact.

  • Develop detailed Budget, Forecast and LRP models covering P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow, and partner with Finance Business Partners/Financial Control to ensure timely and accurate completion of the inputs.
  • Upload Budget/Forecast and LRP values to HFM Planning, and ensure values reconcile.
  • Develop standardised outputs to explain Budget, Forecast and LRP movements including volume, price and mix variances
  • Financial analysis of results, key drivers and performance against KPI’s.
  • Supporting the Director of FP&A with preparation of weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting packs for senior leadership, and functional heads to support monthly and quarterly business reviews.
  • Support with scenario analysis and the development of the risks and opportunities schedule
  • Ensure the integrity and quality control of financial data, implementing checks and balances as necessary; Business partnering within Finance to ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Support development of business plans for current investments, KPIs, and all new projects as appropriate.
  • Support Finance Transformation initiatives including new processes, software, and systems enhancements, automation of reports and process improvement
  • Ad hoc analysis as needed to answer key business questions.
Requirements
  • Part qualified - CIMA or ACCA
  • Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
  • Proficient in financial analysis and modeling, with a comfort level in handling large and complex data sets
  • Capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Possesses a strong analytical mindset and adept problem-solving abilities
  • Exhibits meticulous attention to detail
  • Effective presentation skills
