Job Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging geography lessons to secondary school students
- Assess and evaluate students' progress to ensure learning objectives are met
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall teaching experience
Required Qualifications:
Geography degree, QTS
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Geography
Experience:
Prior experience teaching geography at the secondary school level is preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong knowledge of the geography curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
Preferred Qualifications:
Postgraduate certificate in education (PGCE) specialising in Geography
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a secondary school setting, following the school term calendar. Full-time hours are expected, and flexibility may be required to adapt to the school's schedule.
