Senior Full Stack Developer - Band 7

Full time, permanent role

The post holder will work across all levels of the Trust translating business needs into application, web and data design specifications and solutions.

Main duties of the job

By creating, maintaining and implementing source code that makes up prototypes and usable applications you will execute workable solutions into live operational environments.

You will be able to produce scalable software solutions from conception through testing to deployment using software development life cycle, delivering application across different lines of business through the use of languages such as VB.net, C#, JavaScript frameworks (React, Node.js), and libraries such as HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, XML/Json and jQuery.

The post holder will be responsible for creating solutions that enhance and integrate with existing and new systems in order to improve operational efficiency and enhance clinical care.

Essential criteria
  • Educated at Degree Level or equivalent relevant experience
  • Programming language qualification relevant to application/DBA development
  • ITIL v3 Foundation Qualified

Knowledge and skills

  • Application development using programming language such as Java, ASP.Net, C#, VB.net, JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, Node.js)
  • Deploying applications across different platforms and devices
  • SQL Server Management Studio
  • Database design and administration
  • Development using HTML5/CSS3 and JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Excellent communicator across all levels of the business
  • Service oriented architecture principles
  • Infrastructure components and middleware
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of software development life cycle techniques
