Behaviour Support Mentor – Northampton (NN1)

A Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) based in Northampton are currently seeking a committed Behavioural Support Mentor to begin as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be working closely with Secondary-aged pupils, working one-to-one and in small groups.

The incoming Support Assistant will be expected to provide a holistic approach to pupil behaviour, encouraging engagement and progress. They will be managing minor disruptions in line with the unit’s behaviour policies. Assistants will be expected to provide detailed and knowledgeable feedback on specific pupils, contributing to their re-integration into mainstream school.

This role involves working closely with pupils with SEMH needs. Candidates with experience with SEMH and SEN are encouraged to apply.

PRU in Northampton, easily accessible by bus, tram or car.
Full-time role Monday-Friday paid on a timesheet basis through Teaching Personnel until the end of the academic year.
