Banking Lawyer
Overview:
We are looking for a mid to senior level general banking lawyer to join our team. We have the largest corporate banking team in Yorkshire and are ranked Tier 1 by both Chambers and L500. We transact a wide range of local, national and international debt transactions including property finance (development and investment), project finance, ABL, acquisition finance, wholesale lending and general corporate finance.
We are keen to recruit someone to fit into and develop with our four partner team. We offer a unique opportunity to carry out high quality legal work with a completely locally based team in an independent firm based entirely in Leeds where you will have the opportunity to progress and access to senior members of the firm on a daily basis.

We are looking for:
- An experienced banking lawyer with 3-8 years PQE.

- Salary reflective of your experience though in line with similar tier one Yorkshire firms.
- Earn up to 35% of your salary with our annual bonus scheme.
- Paid sabbatical scheme where you can accrue up to 2 weeks’ paid sabbatical over a 2-year period, or 4 weeks’ paid sabbatical over 3 years.
- Billable hours target of 1350 – lower than all our rivals which is reflective of our commitment to giving you the opportunity to develop your legal skills and client network while also offering a good work/life balance
- Minimum of 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays per year increasing to 31 days with length of service, with the opportunity to buy/sell up to 5 days holiday per year.
- Auto enrolled into the workplace pension scheme, and we'll contribute a minimum of 5% of your salary.
- 4x your annual salary in the event of a death in service.
