Location of the role: MorleyA leading manufacturer that are a leading global name require a Sales Support Engineer to join the team due to company expansion.This new role would have a wide range of responsibilities, including being able to provide engineering and technical support to internal/external customers on a wide range of products and systems, providing costings, quotations and managing sales orders.The company are looking for a motivated team player who can become an integral part of the organisation, where there are future opportunities for development and growth.Key duties of the Sales Support engineer position.
Provie Technical and commercial support for the sales team and UK customer base.Liaising with various departments and providing links between sales, engineering, procurement, production, vehicle testing and others.
Interpreting customer requirements to select and propose solutions.
Assist with and generate quotations based on request for quotation.
Answering technical queries Phone, Email, Teams, face to face.
Responding to requests for delivery dates and lead times.
Become a “go-to” for technical assistance and information.
Carry out vehicle and system handovers on-site to customers.
Flexibility to be available for travel UK or overseas if required on occasion to customer sites or exhibitions.
