Group Financial Controller
The Permanent Division of Robert Half is currently recruiting for a Group Financial Controller on behalf of a Large Services business with offices in Bedford.
The Role
As Group Financial Controller you will work closely with the CFO and manage a mixed Financial and Commercial Accounting team looking after all statutory and commercial accounting, assessment of acquisitions, planning and forecasting. Day to day duties will consist of:
- Leadership and development of a team of a medium sized team
- Management of both Accounting and Controlling finance pillars.
- Financial Accounting and Reporting for a complex Group of companies
- Liaison with Tax authorities and professional advisors, management of Audit process
- Cashflow forecasting
- FP&A, Economic Evaluation (incl M&A), Investor reporting, Management Accounting and Business Partnering.
- Production and evolution of insightful monthly management accounts.
- Assist in development and implementation of systems (AP, MI Reporting, ERP)
- Managing Banking relationships including reporting under facility agreements.
- Identification of control weaknesses and implementation of processes to address.
- Monitoring and control of budgets, Business partnering other departments to optimise performance.
Your Profile
You will ideally be Practice Trained with a mixed Technical and Commercial Accounting skillset looking for a development opportunity with an acquisitive and growing business with a massive amount of goodwill towards Corporate and Social Responsibility.

Role of Group Financial Controller in Bedford is offering a salary of up to £90K + Benefits and working on a Hybrid basis.
