You will be joining an established main contractor working on water schemes for high-profile clients. This organisation has a strong pipeline of work in the water sector and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development.Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Quantity Surveyor to join their highly successful team. This is a permanent position based in the Oxford area with flexible working.
Your new role
As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Producing and providing accurate forecasts of project costs to completion/final value
- Managing subcontractor accounts
- Monitoring cash flow and valuation plans
- Managing subcontractor tender processes
- Providing accurate reports of costs and values on the projects.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have:
- Experience at an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor level
- Good working knowledge of NEC form of contract
- Sound interpersonal and organisational skills
- Experience working on water projects (ideal)
- Full UK driving licence.
