• Leading the design and implementation of automated systems within the logistics department.
• Continuously seeking out innovative solutions to improve efficiency in transport and distribution.
• Collaborating with various teams to ensure the successful integration of new technologies.
• Providing expert advice and guidance on automation opportunities.
• Overseeing the management of automation projects from conception to completion.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Monitoring the performance and functionality of automated systems.
• Providing regular reports on project progress and performance metrics.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Logistics Automation Lead should have:

• A strong understanding of automation in the transport and distribution industry.
• Expertise in both project management and solutions design.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think innovatively.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.
• A commitment to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Expertise is warehouse design and modelling is essential although integrators will manage the detailed design

• A competitive salary package in the range of £90,000 - £110,000, plus a car/ allowance and attractive bonus.
