REAL ESTATE LAWYER NQ – 7 PQE (OR EXPERIENCED PARALEGAL)

HIGHLY COMPETITIVE SALARY & BENEFITS PACKAGE PLUS BONUS

EDINBURGH (WITH HYBRID WORKING)

Haggerty Jaques is delighted to be instructed to recruit a Real Estate lawyer or highly experienced paralegal for this phenomenal team in Edinburgh.

The Team

This prestigious and successful firm is looking to further expand its Edinburgh-based Real Estate team in response to a continued strong pipeline of work and high transactional activity.

The sizeable team advises an enviable client base on a broad range of City-quality real estate transactions.

This is a team that enjoys working collaboratively, sharing ideas and developing business together.

The Opportunity

You will be working on national and international commercial real estate matters, including investment, management, and development/infrastructure, as well as M&A/private equity deals with your Corporate colleagues.

Working with some of the most experienced and high calibre lawyers in the market, there is great potential to hone your skills and to progress your career.

The team is qualified in and advises on a mix of English and Scots law matters and there will be the opportunity for you to do the same, depending on your background.

You can expect a highly competitive salary and benefits package, plus a discretionary annual bonus.

Although you will be based from the Edinburgh office, the firm will consider candidates (particularly those who are more experienced) who are looking to work remotely on a more regular basis. The role may also occasionally involve you working from London.

The Ideal Candidate

The Real Estate team is keen to consider lawyers from NQ level up to around 7 years’ PQE who have experience of working within a specialist real estate practice, whether that be within private practice or in-house. It will also consider very experienced paralegals with a minimum of around 12 months’ Real Estate experience and a good range of skills.

As a qualified lawyer, ideally you will be dual qualified (English and Scots Law), although the team will also consider lawyers who are only qualified in one jurisdiction, particularly if that were in English law.

Lawyers who enjoy challenging but rewarding work and are excited by the prospect of bringing their skills and experience to this dynamic and friendly team are very much encouraged to apply.

Any references to PQE/years’ experience in our adverts are included purely as a guide and should not preclude candidates who believe they have the requisite skills and experience from applying.
