Asset and Property Manager

Cedar Property Investments Ltd. are a small family-owned business with a real estate investment arm specialising in industrial (logistics) and residential properties. We are looking to manage our investment portfolio.
The Asset and Property Manager will be responsible for overseeing the performance, maintenance, and financial health of our property portfolio. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in property management, financial analysis, tenant relations, and asset optimization.The ideal candidate will ensure that properties remain profitable, well-maintained, and compliant with all regulations while fostering strong relationships with tenants and service providers.
Tasks
Asset Management:
- Develop and execute asset strategies to maximize property value and return on investment.
- Conduct financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting for the real estate portfolio.
- Identify opportunities for property improvements, renovations, and repositioning.
- Monitor market trends to inform investment and operational decisions.
- Assist in acquisitions and dispositions by performing due diligence and financial modeling.
Property Management:
- Oversee day-to-day property operations, including maintenance, leasing, and tenant relations.
- Ensure all properties comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Develop and implement property management policies and procedures.
- Manage lease agreements, renewals, and rent collections.
- Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and conflict resolution
- 5+ years of experience in property and asset management (preferably in residential and/or commercial real estate).
- Strong understanding of real estate financials, budgeting, and asset performance analysis.
- Knowledge of landlord-tenant laws, leasing, and property management best practices.
- Proficiency in property management software and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
