Paralegal

DWF, a global legal business, is seeking a motivated Paralegal with expertise in fraud and motor claims to join our dynamic team in Belfast. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, handling complex fraud and motor litigation cases for a wide variety of clients.
Responsibilities:
- Support solicitors with fraud and motor claim cases, including legal research, case preparation, and drafting legal documents.
- Review and assess motor insurance claims, identifying potential fraud indicators.
- Collaborate with clients, insurers, and other parties to obtain necessary evidence and documentation.
- Prepare court bundles and manage the filing of legal documents.
- Maintain accurate records and case files using the firm’s case management system.
- Liaise with clients and external parties, providing updates and ensuring case progression.
- Assist with the investigation of claims, including reviewing evidence such as CCTV footage, accident reports, and witness statements.
- Conduct legal research and prepare briefs for solicitors.
What will help you succeed in this role?:
Essential- Strong knowledge of the UK legal system and civil litigation process
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in legal research and using case management software.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous paralegal experience, particularly in fraud and motor insurance claims.
- Experience working within the insurance sector or for a legal firm with fraud and motor expertise.
