Your new role
As the Senior Design Manager, you will take on a pivotal leadership role within their pre-construction team on a large-scale project valued at over £100 million. Your expertise in Design Management will be crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of this high-profile project.You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, architects, engineers, and the Site team to drive solutions, maintain design integrity, and ensure compliance with industrial standards. Your ability to lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team will be key to achieving project milestones and exceeding client expectations.
What you'll need to succeed- At least ten years of experience in design management.
- Proven experience managing projects valued at £50 million or more.
- A strong track record of overseeing large-scale, non-residential projects such as schools, hospitals, or universities.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Experience leading a multidisciplinary team, fostering collaboration and innovation.
- Availability to start as soon as possible, ready to hit the ground running
- A long-term contract spanning five years, providing stability and career growth.
- Direct support and mentorship from the Contracts Director, ensuring you have the guidance you need.

- A flexible day rate, depending on experience, ranges from £400 to £500 per day under an umbrella company.
