About Our Client

• Coordinate the import process for a range of goods across multiple suppliers and countries.
• Effectively communicate with external stakeholders including suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs officials.
• Ensure compliance with all necessary import regulations and procedures.
• Work closely with the Secretarial & Business Support team to manage documentation and reporting.
• Resolve any issues or delays in the import process promptly and efficiently.
• Monitor and report on import performance, identifying any areas for improvement.
• Support the wider team with ad-hoc administrative tasks as required.
• Contribute to the overall success of the retail team in Walsall.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Import Coordinator should have:

• An educational background in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A thorough understanding of import regulations and procedures.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work well under pressure.

• An estimated hourly wage of GBP £14 - £17, based on the industry standard.
