Management Accountant

Main Responsibilities- Prepare and analyse monthly and year-end financial statements
- Develop and maintain robust financial models and forecasts to support budgeting, planning, and performance analysis.
- Conduct variance analysis, investigate financial discrepancies, and provide insightful recommendations to improve operational efficiency.
- Manage cash flow, oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, and ensure timely payments.
- Assist the Group Finance Manager with the preparation of the group consolidated accounts.
- Support the development and implementation of financial policies
- Work closely with other departments to support their needs.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly payroll for all businesses, working with our outsourced payroll provider.
- Maintain strong relationships with external auditors and ensure all audit queries are addressed promptly.
- Stay up to date with relevant accounting regulations
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and reporting standards (UK GAAP).
- Experience with financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software packages.
- Salary of up to £50,000
