Company Overview

This leading manufacturer seeks a CNC Turner to permanently join the team to help accommodate their consistently high workload.

• Set & operate CNC lathes to produce components following engineering drawings and specifications.
• Ensuring that all components meet quality standards and are produced efficiently.
• Programming editing and optimising.
• Previous experience on multi-axis lathes is a bonus.
• Inspecting finished components for accuracy and quality.
• Working with tight tolerances and maintaining high levels of accuracy.
• Collaborating with the production team to adjust processes and improve efficiencies.
• Conducting routine maintenance on CNC machinery.
• Following all safety protocols and ensuring a safe working environment.
• This role is on a double-day shift so will entail a mix of alternating early and late starts.

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner with expertise in CNC Turning using Fanuc or Siemens control systems.
• Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings and engineering specifications.
• Strong understanding of precision engineering and the ability to work to tight tolerances.
• Proficient in changing tools and setting offsets on CNC lathes.
• Capability to edit and optimise CNC programs when needed.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
