Interim Finance Analyst

Our client, a global insurance company are currently looking for an experienced finance analyst to join their Birmingham office. The successful candidate will be expected to liaise with various areas of the business including finance departments, actuarial team, ceded reinsurance and the culture and people team. Location:
- Birmingham Contract length: 6
- month contract Contract hours: Monday
- Friday, 37.5 hours per week Salary: £350
- £450 a day
- Liaising with the MI team and Group Finance Director to ensure that the board receive the correct budgets and forecasts in line with business procedures
- Ensuring that IELR’s are correctly documented, implemented, and are available to deliver within specified timeframes
- Identifying gaps and issues within the data and reaching out to relevant business areas to address these issues
- Ensuring interactions with customers are focused on delivering fair outcomes, including having the correct products for their needs
- Carrying out additional finance responsibilities as individually notified by your line manager
- Qualified Accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Proven experience within the insurance industry in a similar role
- Post qualification financial reporting experience, ideally within the Insurance sector
- Experience working on an implementation project
- Ability to collaborate closely with senior business stakeholders, explaining complex problems
