Key purpose of role
To assist in promoting the learning and personal development of a pupil with an Education Health and Care Plan, to whom you are assigned. To enable the child to make best use of the educational opportunities available to them and to provide a high standard of care as required and in accordance with the child’s individual needs.
- Fostering the participation of pupils in the social and academic practices of the school.
- Enabling pupils to become more independent learners.
- Helping to raise standards of achievement for the pupil.
- Support the Learning Support Department with Access Arrangements.
