About Our Client
Page Personnel are supporting an family owned organisation in the surrounding area of Leeds, who are looking to hire a brand new permanent reduced hours Bookkeeper to join the business. Reporting into the Managing Director, in this very varied role you will be mainly looking after the journal postings and Profit & Loss etc.This position is a 30 hours working week Monday to Thursday with flexible start times and is up to £35,000 full time equivalent.
Job Description
As company Bookkeeper reporting into the Managing Director and supporting the wider business, you will be successfully supporting with the journal postings and profit & loss for example.
Alongside this will be taking ownership of the transactional side of things, such as the ledgers, bank reconciliations and VAT returns to name a few.
You will have the resources to improve efficiency on any current processes where you see fit, alongside contributing to any commentary needed from a finance perspective.
The Successful Applicant- Ideally AAT Level 4 but not essential - Open to anyone Qualified by Experience.
- Experience of journal postings and profit & loss (Variance Analysis).
- Knowledge of transactions duties such as purchase & sales ledgers, bank reconciliations, petty cash, VAT returns and payment runs.
- Comfortable with Microsoft excel and finance softwares.
- Can work individually and as part of a wider organisation.
- Happy to work on site Monday to Thursday (30 hours a week).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Salaried up to £35,000 (FTE - Full time equivalent)
