Primary Teaching Assistant - Blackburn:
Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a teaching assistant with experience supporting upper KS2 students to join a lovely school near to Blackburn. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent psychology graduate who is looking to pursue a career in education.
This is a full time position to start after the February half-term.
The Role:- Building rapport with parents, students and staff
- Preparing learning resources and activities
- Providing specific support to children in all curriculum areas
- Positively managing behaviour
- Location: Blackburn
- Position: Primary TA
- Type of Work: Temporary
- Full time/Part time: Full time only
- Hours: 8:45am-3:15pm, Mon-Fri
- Minimum Rate of Pay: £85 per day, depending on experience
- Start date: 03/03/2025
- End date: Ongoing
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience
- Psychology degree desired
- Previous experience supporting KS2 pupils
- Hold right to work in the UK
- Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
