Job Description
The Paraplanner's duties include:
- Preparing new business documentation and regular client review packs.
- Producing and updating accurate client portfolio valuations and reports.
- Collaborating with advisers to interpret financial advice based on each client's needs and objectives.
- Preparing suitability reports and recommendation documents.
- Carrying out anti-money laundering checks and obtaining literature from providers.
- Managing appointment bookings and client communications.
- Maintaining lead records and progress tracking.
- Ensuring advisers have access to up-to-date literature and technical information.
- Staying informed on relevant product, legislative, and industry changes.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal Paraplanner candidate will have experience within an IFA or wealth management setting, supporting advisers in a paraplanning or technical administration role. A strong understanding of investments, pensions, protection/life cover, and ideally, tax or trust arrangements is essential.They will be Level 4 Diploma qualified, confident working independently or as part of a team, and possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
