We are looking to recruit a band 7 team leader for the Acute Medical Unit
We provide all staff with educational development through our departmental education team and promote an active coaching environment for all staff.
Are you an experienced Acute Medicine Nurse Nurse looking to develop yourself within a senior sister role, do you have experience as a Band 6 Nurse within AMU are you committed to providing excellent patient care within a busy department working within local and national targets, do you have excellent communication skills and good time management skills along with the ability to work in a well established and dynamic team, if so then this may be the job for you.

You will be expected to work on a rotational shift pattern to ensure we provide 24 hour senior nurse cover to the department and also as part of your role support the Matron as a team leader
The work-load throughout the department is very varied and interesting with no two days being the same. The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills, a high sense of professionalism and a strong belief in the value of teamwork.
