Your new role
In this job as an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll work with a team of specialist practitioners to support pupils with a range of additional needs to access this schools’ bespoke curriculum. Hays Teaching Assistants make a positive impact on the lives of children and young people who have a range of care needs, life experiences and personalities which make every day different!You’ll benefit from on-going support from your Hays consultant, Hollie, who will be there for you throughout this placement and beyond.
What you need to succeed
To succeed in your new job, you’ll have a minimum of 1 years’ experience working with SEN children aged between 2 and 5 years old. You’ll be proactive and adaptable to working with children with a range of complex educational and physical needs.You'll be prepared to take on full-time hours on a term-time only basis. Most importantly, you’ll be confident stepping into a new school and ready to quickly build relationships with colleagues, pupils and parents.
