As a team:

People in the Sales career track grow pipeline and sales by leading origination and/or closing of sales opportunities in a specific area or across a range of Accenture offerings. They progress by deepening sales skills and/or developing new related skills, growing into more complex sales roles.

The Resources UKIA Sales Team is responsible for originating, selling, and closing complex contracts typically >$10m in value. It is a dynamic team made up of Sales Captures who lead opportunities that often combine the full breadth of Accenture service offerings.

We work with most of the major clients across Resources sector (Energy, Utilities, Chemicals, Natural Resources), as well as working with new players in the industry. This is an exciting and vibrant team who bring to bear the best of sales at Accenture within a team environment that positively encourages growth and promotion.

What responsibilities will you have?
  • Overall sales responsibility for a large client or portfolio of clients, including development of sales strategy.
  • Originate, shape and transact large, complex sales opportunities aligning Accenture’s value proposition to clients’ strategic ambitions
  • Develop trusted relationships with key buyers and decision-makers at new and/or existing clients; and key ecosystem partners
  • Lead opportunities from sales pursuit to close, including leading commercial negotiations
  • Robust qualification of opportunities to focus on those we are best positioned to win
  • Lead and manage sales end to end, including solution/proposition development, commercials proposition, client interactions and all aspects of the win strategy to beat the competition
  • Manage and coach other Sales Captures or Bid Managers
