SEND Teaching Assistant

SEND Teaching Assistant - Role:
- Provide one-to-one support to a boy with Autism, focusing primarily on improving his speech and language skills.
- Assist the child with communication strategies, using speech and language techniques to encourage verbal expression and understanding.
- Assist classroom teachers in planning and delivering differentiated lessons to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to ongoing assessments to track student progress and inform future interventions.
SEND Teaching Assistant - Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant at Reception level.
- Strong understanding of various SEN conditions and strategies to support students effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Flexibility, patience, and a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of children with SEN.
