Senior Practice Accountant/Partner - Brook Street

Salary: £40,000-£60,000, negotiable depending on experience

We are currently partnering with a growing accountancy firm in Manchester that is looking for a proactive Senior Accountant to join their team. This firm provides expert financial support to a diverse client base and is seeking a talented individual to manage client accounts and deliver high-quality tax and financial services.

The Role:

You will be instrumental in building up the practice and shaping the future of the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare year-end accounts, management accounts, and corporation tax returns.
• Provide tax planning advice and support clients during HMRC audits.
• Assist in budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow optimisation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify financial risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Contribute to business growth and development opportunities.

Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with general practice experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
